The kayak tour begins with brief kayak instructions
We will then launch into a fun, adventurous experience.
First time and accomplished paddlers will be amazed of such beautiful environment right in North Naples.
During the tour we will explore unbelievably beautiful and unique mangrove tunnels, trails and open water.
Be on the lookout for Osprey Nests, Ibis, Egrets, Herons, playful Dolphins, friendly manatees and the tiniest creatures first hand.
We will learn the importance of the mangrove to our environment.

DIRECTIONS to Shell Island Boat Launch
Take Collier Blvd/Route 951 to Shell Island Road
As soon as you turn onto Shell Island Road you are submersed into a sub-tropical jungle and your tour/adventure begins!
Drive 1 ¾ miles to a dead end.
Before the dead end be sure and look into the scrub for wildlife. In some areas you can see only 3 feet into the wilderness … keep looking because the landscape is a perfect habitat for wildlife! Perhaps you will see Gopher Tortoise, deer, wild pigs, coyotes, eagles, jays, herons, osprey, panthers, or even bobcats (Not a guarantee because it is a natural area.)
You will pass a hidden boardwalk at the Florida Wildlife Commission office where you can walk above the wilderness. (Port-o-John is available)
During your drive when you notice that the landscape changes to wide open space, be sure to look up to your right for the 250 lb. active Osprey nest.
The parking lot is to your left at the dead-end
